Dassault Systemes, a French aerospace and defence company, is particularly active in aircraft production, defence systems, software and other aviation-related fields. Emaar Office Blocks in Üsküdar, Istanbul were preferred for the Istanbul-based office of the company. The project, completed in cooperation with Diem and Area Europe, was delivered in November 2023.
Carrying out a Joint Project with UK in Istanbul
The project was successfully completed in approximately 4 months together with Area Europe, our Studio Alliance partner, of which Diem is one of the founding members. With the Dassault office project, Diem has added a new one to its architectural projects completed by teams specialised in construction projects and making a difference. While the architectural concept design belongs to Area Europe, the electrical-mechanical and applications were completed by Diem and the advantages of carrying out the project together were utilised and the cooperation was strengthened. During this period of approximately 4 months, the team from London worked with our staff at Diem Head Office in a fun and efficient way. As Diem, we were proud to host such a harmonious working environment.
A professional team can overcome all challenges.
Many office projects may have their own difficulties. During the implementation process of Dassault, night work had to be carried out due to the occupancy of the building. In this office project, working at night and ensuring coordination can be stated as the difficulty of the project, but thanks to our professional teams, all these were overcome and completed without any negativity.
The importance of technology use
In Dassault, which is a project that requires participation in meetings from different regions of Europe, up-to-date technological devices and developments were used. In this way, the remote project execution process was facilitated. With the field monitoring system, the status of the field was checked regularly and live. Integrating technological innovations and developments into construction sites; while preventing the negativities that may occur in the process, it also increases the dominance in the projects. For this reason, as Diem, we take care to follow technological developments and use them in our projects as much as possible.
